View from the Soyuz became the final band announced for this year’s Loud Park, and will open the main stage before Parkway Drive headline the festival.

The metallic hardcore band have been given a great opportunity of opening the Ultimate Stage, with Sable Hills, Orbit Culture, The Ghost Inside and Kerry King later performing on the same stage, before Australian metalcore’s Parkway Drive bring an end to the stacked day.

View from the Soyuz is one of the main upcoming bands from the metalcore/hardcore space in Japan. Their performances at Summer Bash Fest and Bloodaxe Festival in September, both of which I was able to attend while visiting Japan, were brilliant. Attendees are in for a treat, and should head there early to see them.

The band released their first full album – titled ‘Ubiquitous’ – earlier this year. I would definitely recommend giving it a listen if you like your 00s-style metalcore.
