Crystal Lake have released their latest single ‘The Weight of Sound’ after recently announcing that a new album will be coming our way in January 2026.

Last week they announced on socials that new album The Weight of Sound would be released on January 23rd via Century Media Records (thank you for starting the new year strong). Alongside they announced that the title track would soon be released, and you can watch the music video below.

The new song, for me, is a banger. It brings back some of the iconic sounds that made me initially fall in love with the band.

There are a few LP variants and a CD that are available to preorder, which you can look into more here. The links only took me to German sites, although I was able to find the Forest Green variant through separately searching on Century Media’s UK store.

Previously released songs BlüdGod (feat. Taylor Barber from Left to Suffer), Dystopia (feat. Jesse Leach from Killswitch Engage) and Crossing Nails will make up the 11-track album.
